My name is Eyal Carmi and I am an industrial designer based in Tel Aviv, Israel. After graduating from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design and many years of experience as a product designer, I decided to pursue my passion for making objects with meaning through ceramics. Together with my wife Noa, and with the inspiration from our smiling son, our Etsy Shop called PIGZstore came to life!

The PIGZ journey began at what some would call a mid-life crisis and what I call a time of new beginnings. As a designer, I have always believed that my purpose is to turn objects into meaningful parts of our daily life that evoke emotion and are both practical and powerful. PIGZ has lead me to a happy place of creation and a sense of optimism that arises from the playful aesthetic and the knowledge that my design brings happiness into homes. I am humbled that PIGZ has already touched the lives of so many, including mine, through bright happy colors and fun home decor objects such as the signature PIGZ Piggy Bank.

We are constantly exploring the creation of new objects and new ways to spread happiness, hope, positive energy, and a little fun into your home!
